The wake imbuing contemplation,
Relief disbanding trepidation.
Euthanasia, apparition past,
Placed to rest amid the passed.
A dread as welcomed as it was feared.
Cut deeply, broadly, intently, and seared,
Open, bared, exposed, unconcealed,
Pellucid at last, torturous, revealed.
It had to be, I knew so well.
So say good-by, so long, farewell,
And pray this ghost will rest in peace,
Otherwise there is no true release.
